Additionally, they needed a solution to determine the actual cost of energy production quickly and accurately, which was previously delayed by two months.<\/p><p>Our team developed several Power BI solutions:<\/p><ul><li><p><strong>Energy Metrics Dashboard<\/strong>: Provided a comprehensive view of performance by combining key energy indicators. Scrapers were built to track market data, enabling strategy alignment with current market trends. This helped the company optimize its operations through data-driven insights.<\/p><\/li><li><p><strong>Market Segment Analysis<\/strong>: Displayed sales volume, tariffs, and market segment data, showing the company&#8217;s alignment with different segments. The dashboard helped identify the most profitable segments and adjust pricing strategies accordingly.<\/p><\/li><li><p><strong>Fuel Analytics Dashboard<\/strong>: Monitored fuel consumption, procurement, and storage capacity, tracking fuel oil, coal, and other fuel types. By analyzing fuel dynamics, the company could better manage inventory and reduce operational costs.<\/p><\/li><li><p><strong>P&amp;L Dashboard<\/strong>: Analyzed profit and loss, comparing actual results to plans, budgets, and forecasts. This included insights into tariffs, margins, and net profitability, empowering the company to make swift, strategic decisions based on real-time data.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p>To support market data analysis, we created a parser and developed a new database, allowing for real-time cost estimates to replace forecasted costs. Previously, the actual cost of energy production was only available after a two-month delay; our solution provided immediate access, enabling more agile decision-making with the help of energy business intelligence.<\/p><p>Given the complexity of their operations, we established a transit database for Power BI analytics. This involved designing a system that could process data from their transactional system and ensure timely and accurate data
